I am a MOMMY!!!

Sophia was born on August 5th, 2009 at 6:50 am. She took awhile to come into the world. I was induced at 7am on August 4th and ended up having a csection the following morning. Her weight was 7lbs 10.5 oz and 21 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful! Since I had my water broke for so long she developed an infection in her lungs and wasnt breathing very well when she entered the world. The following day she was sent to the NICU in Fargo. Lots has happened since that day but today she is doing great and she hopefully coming home for the first time on Sunday!!

My super awesome sister!! Watch out Akron here she comes!!!

I am totally bummed because my family is leaving for Akron, Ohio on Saturday and I am stuck in Valley City. They are going for the national Soap Box Derby. Melissa got first place in the super stock division in Valley City in June. I won in super stock in 1998 and both of my brothers Matt and Mark have gone as well. I have been there all three times and feel terrible that I wont be going with my little sis!! I hope she knows how much I want to be there and love her!! Wish her and Jordan Magnuson good luck if see them this week. They will be preparing all of next week for race day next Saturday!! Here are few pics that I took of her and my dad took one of them!! I love you little sis!!!
